Can you change your driving-test centre?
How the 2026 nearby-centre rule affects changes to a car driving-test booking.
Direct answer: Yes, but since 9 June 2026 a car test can only be moved to one of the three nearest test centres to the centre in the existing booking. A centre change also counts towards the two-change limit.

Choose a centre you genuinely intend to use. Consider your familiarity with the area, travel time, instructor availability and the car you will take—not only historical waiting times or pass rates.
